Share the use, footprint, eave height, code jurisdiction, quantity, destination and whether you want a shell, a delivered package, an installed frame or a turnkey scope.

Price lines move when the frame, the enclosure and the site work sit in different contracts. These three checks are the ones CivicGate Sourcing asks a buyer to write down before factories are approached.
State whether the alternative should be a rigid frame in hot-rolled steel or a cold-formed steel system, and record the primary frame, secondary framing, purlin profile and girt lines. A 40 ft clear span with 16 ft eave height and 25 ft bay spacing is a different member design from a 30 ft by 40 ft equipment shed. CivicGate Sourcing does not select the member sizes; the quoting factory does, against the loads you supply.
Ask the project engineer for design live load, design dead load, wind speed, wind exposure category, ground snow load and seismic design category. A ground snow load of 30 psf and a 115 mph wind speed are examples of figures a jurisdiction may assign. They are not stock ratings of this desk. Without those numbers, two quotations can both say “code compliant” and still be designed for different sites.
Mark shell, delivered, installed or turnkey, and say who owns the foundation interface, crane lift plan, doors, insulated metal panel and interior trades. Thermal transmittance or an R-value such as R-19 belongs in the enclosure line, not in a slogan. Freight, taxes and installation stay as separate lines so a low frame price is not read as a finished building.

Use this label for storage or distribution volume where clear span, eave height and door openings drive the frame. Open the brief and add bay spacing, slab assumptions and whether the quote stops at the shell.
