CivicGate Sourcing Privacy Policy

This policy explains how CivicGate Sourcing handles information that a business buyer sends while asking for alternative building quotations. It is a sourcing-desk notice, not a statement about any building brand you may have searched.

Information you send

The inquiry form asks for a name, a work email, a phone number, a company name and a requirements narrative. The narrative should carry building use, dimensions, jurisdiction, loads if you know them, quantity, destination, timing and scope. Optional budget amount or range, currency, per-building or whole-order basis, and supplier preference become part of the requirements you submit.

Why it is used

The desk uses the package to understand the building problem, to ask factories for quotations on a matching scope, and to reply to you. It is not used to publish a testimonial, to invent a project case study, or to claim that a factory has been audited. Supplier preference is stored as your note. It is not converted into a public score.

Who else may see it

Relevant parts of a brief may be shared with factories or traders who are asked to quote that brief. They receive the technical and commercial description needed to answer, not a right to reuse your contact details for unrelated lists. CivicGate Sourcing does not sell inquiry files. Hosting and mail providers who transmit the form see the data as part of operating the channel.

What this site does not collect on purpose

The pages do not ask for payment card numbers, government identity numbers or precise home addresses of private individuals. If you paste that kind of data into the requirements box, it was not requested. A project city, county or ZIP is useful because it affects loads and freight; a full private residence address is not required to open a commercial comparison.

Retention

Inquiry records are kept long enough to finish the comparison you asked for, to answer a follow-up on the same brief, and to meet ordinary bookkeeping duties. When a brief is closed and no law requires a longer hold, the working copy can be deleted or reduced to a non-identifying note that a request of a certain building type was handled. There is no public archive of customer names on this website.

Cookies and the sourcing note

The browser may store a local marker of when the sourcing-support note was first shown, and a session marker if you hide the strip. Those markers time the display of that note. They are not a profile of your project and they are not shared as a marketing audience. Closing the strip does not delete the project form you may have started.

Your requests

You may ask what inquiry text is held about your company, ask for a correction, or ask the desk to stop using a brief that you sent in error. Send that request through the same contact form and include enough detail to find the earlier message, such as the company name and the approximate building size. CivicGate Sourcing will not ask a factory to forget a quotation that the factory has already prepared under its own records; that request has to go to the factory as well.

Children

The desk is for business buyers. It is not directed at children, and inquiries that appear to come from a minor are not processed as building leads.

Changes to this notice

If the way inquiry text is handled changes in a material way, this page will be updated. Continued use of the form after an update applies to new submissions. Older briefs remain under the notice that was posted when they were sent, unless a law requires otherwise.
